The Sky kitchen for a fairly long time and finally this afternoon, I decided to see what the resto had to offer. The food: Not something which I don’t get to taste at other restaurants but yeah, presentation wise, 3.
The malai Broccoli was great with generous pieces of Broccoli paired with their unique sauce giving a tangy taste to the buds. Paneer tikka was just so so. I mean nothing great about it. Big chunks of paneer marinated in to tomato onion gravy and the same old way, same old taste. The Anarkali mocktail was something I was surprised with. And so was the Ginger Ale. I guess they haven’t learnt a lesson from the likes of Park Hyatt where charging Service charges to the customer costed them 10 times the charge they levied.
The entire mood was wrecked because of the Service charge. Not that people can’t pay bucks, but then tipping too is additional and both of which puts a good dent in the pocket.
The ambience and food was good. On Saturday nights there is supposed to be live music but on the day we went the lead singer was unwell so we didn’t get the chance to enjoy it.

Both the veg and non-veg assorted dim sums platter fared well with most of the non-veg dimsums carrying rich authentic flavors.
This one took presentation to another level being served in super chilled coconut shell with its malai inside. I mean this could easily be the best of what we had. Also, the apple tofu and lichi ice cream served perfect partners to wrap up a satisfying meal to the top level satisfaction. Overall a legit pan-asian food-fare which satisfied by asian cravings with class dishes and simple flavors and nothing overdone or over hyped.

Started off with spicy Tom yum je. Next was the spicy mushroom with mint and crushed roasted rice salad , the best salad I have had in recent times. Thai green curry with Jasmine rice and yaki udon noodles with spicy tofu constituted the mains. No meal is complete without dessert’s , with Tub Tim grob and litchi ice cream we signed off on a sweet note.

The starters, maggi cheese balls were below average and served cold, veg manchuria was hot but the there was no proper binding and it was breaking when we tried to eat it. The only best thing was the Alfredo pasta it was hot, creamy and spicy with the garlic bread. When lasagna was ordered, I was thinking it would be with lasagna sheets, but it turned out to be something else. It was over creamy and the sticks were very oily too.

I tried the thin crust pizza, pasta and lasagna and all were cooked to near perfection.

Celeste is a lovely Italian cuisine restaurant at the Taj Falaknuma Palace. The staffs are courteous and take care of you. Only down side is the set menu which is very limited. I wish they add more options. We chose a pre set course and the Food is Good and the services are good, but definitely very expensive.
One thing i was disappointed is about the candle light dinner. Pan-Asian restaurant. It has a full bar pub and is open up to 2AM.
Sushi, Kung Pao and Tofu are best foods in Zega you can always try. Zega offered with a good ambience. We had our dinner at Zega. Taste was good. Service to our table was quick. Overall our experience with zega was good. Didn’t find any issues either with food or drinks or with service. We were happy. So we visit again on 17 mar’22 and this time we go to Zega for a late night bite. Service was a tad slow but they made up by serving free appetizers to keep us busy.
