If so, Balistreri Vineyards is your spot. The owners are two of the best people I have ever met. We recently celebrated my birthday there and they made sure everything was enjoyable for us. Staying at the Brown is an annual affair. Love it. Yo be fair…the restaurants are a non event. Eat elsewhere. Great food is to be found in Denver in small, mom and pop ethnic restaurants. Amazing place. Beautiful, historic building. Staff is very helpful. Rooms were more spacious and updated than expected. The shower heads in and were not good – showering was difficult. The restaurants on site are unbelievably good. Afternoon tea is an experience just to watch!
Conveniently located within Denver for downtown restaurants and bars. Next time, I’ll think to book the spa in advance! This is a beautiful very clean hotel with excellent service, even during Covid. In particular I would like to personally thank Larry Hicks at the front desk. He also delivered extra coffee supplies to my room within 10 minutes.

The Ritz Carlton Denver exudes an elegant manner just right after you stepped into the building. My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and we loved it!
We enjoyed walking to vibe coffee shop and all the sites of Denver. The staff was very friendly and I just have to shout out Julie in the spa. She really went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel so welcomed and pampered! We are a Platinum rewards member and felt it! Our room was upgraded and we received early and late check in and out. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I came to Denver for a getaway this past weekend and booked at the Ritz. The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful, but that was really to the extent of where we felt they excelled. When you walk in, there isn’t a grand lobby or even really a lobby at all. There’s the restaurant to your left, a staircase, and then the “check in” area to your right.
Upon check in, we went directly to the elevator and up to our very average room. The size was nice, but everything else was just average for any nicer hotel. The wooden end tables looked worn and had some chips. The table by the chaise had water rings all over it, the tub was tiny and again, it was just really average.
I was expecting more. Elways was a nice restaurant with nice staff, and we enjoyed having a few drinks in there prior to heading out for dinner. Overall, the location wasn’t in a bustling part of town and the hotel was in sort of a random spot and hard to find at first.
We were supposed to be there for 3 nights and ended up checking out and heading to a different hotel in Cherry Creek – that ended up being far more upscale and half the price. I would not stay here again. We stayed st this Ritz property for our anniversary night out of the house. From the moment we arrived, the staff were excellent. We leveraged our Amex fine hotels program for our stay. Patricia at the concierge desk was amazing. She explained the program to us and even set us up with a little gift set for our anniversary.
We really enjoyed our conversation with her. We had good conversations with him at arrival and departure. The room was well appointed, and my wife enjoyed the spa tub. Had a great stay – great location – and most importantly an extremely nice staff. A business issues came up that cut short my stay in Denver and they were very professional and super helpful in assisting with that. Very nice vintage hotel! Will definitely go back again. We were greeted with complimentary wine and beverages and the friendliest staff!
Our room was clean and very nice. Completely updated while preserving the historic charm. The front desk texts you so that you have a contact to text anytime you need anything. Fluid Coffee Shop downstairs is wonderful also. Nothing to write home about But honestly, it is just a business hotel. A place for business men and women to stay when they are Denver. The views on the 11th floor are blah, and the sound proofing of the outside is non existing.
Upon reserving the room I specifically asked for extra pillows and blankets, and there were no extra in our room. It seems that once you leave the Lobby, everything begins to show its age and lack of care.
The elevators are vintage, but the graffiti, scratches, and filth are plenty new. The hallways are fine, but definitely could use some love and care.
The rooms are so outdated, and Care given to the upkeep of their fixtures is ridiculous for the style of hotel they present themselves to be. The science pyramid was good for kids. The landscaping is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the moongates and their description.
It was very picturesque even without everything in bloom. I absolutely love Denver Botanic Gardens! The architecture in the park combined with the different plants and flowers is stunning. It is one of my favorite places to photograph in Denver. They have several different wedding spots, and are true pros at helping you set everything up for the day!

A space I actually felt really comfortable to be in and not just a place to sleep. But the KEY is really the bar, food, and staff. Wonderful experience! Rooms are so fun, the lobby is so chic, and the cocktail menu is incredible. Nicest front desk staff and just wonderful ambiance. The bar cart upstairs was super legit and the glam station is too cute.
Really loved the chesterfields, chandeliers, dark teals and bright windows. Super accommodating and beautiful. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and it was such a treat. The room is unbelievably beautiful with so many thoughtful details. The thing about global hotel chains is that they apply the same set of standards everywhere. Better yet, Four Seasons Hotel Denver is one of the most romantic hotels in Denver with a full-service spa and wellness center. I could say nothing bad about this hotel. The service is excellent and compares to no other. The staff is friendly, always smiling, and very helpful. The meeting space is elegant and the food quality during the meetings was the best that I can remember having. I experienced a medical issue while staying here and all of the staff showed compassion and empathy for my situation.
The beds were comfy and room was spacious with a great view of Downtown Denver. What an exquisite experience. The last time I visited we got a suite on one of the upper floors. The view was incredible, especially at night time with the windows open. It was breathtaking. The bedroom and bathroom looked wonderful. The bed was luxuriously comfortable. Definitely will try to book another time. We stopped here before the theater for a quick dinner. We were advised to order appetizers and drinks for quick service.
After getting menus ourselves, and having to stop a waiter to get water, we placed our order from the limited appetizers that were not sold out. When our order should have come, the waitress told us they no longer had what we ordered and the only thing left was french fries.

The rooms were spacious and the rooftop pool has an amazing view. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only complaint is the room we were in had multiple stains on the carpet and the carpet was pretty old. My room was big and clean. The rooftop is awesome with a nice pool and great views. I got coffee in the lobby and took that to the rooftop to drink. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My only complaint is that I’m terrified on automatic rotating doors hahaha.

Thank you thank you Hotel Teatro. My wife and I stayed here in November of last year for our 1-year anniversary. It was an idyllic stay and one we still speak of weekly, if not daily. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which came with a luxurious bed, two bathrooms one with an enormous and beautiful sinking tub and a living area.
We would recommend Hotel Teatro to anyone. I now have a new favorite home away from home in Denver! We stayed at the end of Feb for a bachelorette event and I booked the Junior Suite which is a king room with another smaller room with a sofa bed and extra bathroom attached.
The king room was glorious with a large tub and in the other room the sofa bed was surprisingly very comfortable and they offered to make it up for us before we arrived which was so helpful! We had dinner at the Nickel and the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Every single employee goes above and beyond. I was so impressed. I loved our stay so much I booked a room for the following weekend as well and we had another amazing stay.

This is our absolute favorite park! There are so many incredible areas to explore. We come here x a week to ride scooters, walk the lake, feed the geese oops, sorry if we weren’t supposed to lol.

The service was wonderful, atmosphere exceptional, super classy and cute location. So yeah my score is low but for good reason. Eating the food was a challenge. I had the pork belly and vegetables. The vegetables and the crusted layers of the pork belly were difficult to cut.
To make it clear they gave me a fancy golden serrated knife too so it shouldn’t have even been a problem. To the dishes credit it had a nice flavor. My girlfriend on the other hand had a salmon dish and said it didn’t have much flavor and she felt that it had the taste of cat food.
Next on the chopping block were the drinks. We ordered their specialty drinks but it was as if they were trying too hard to make something new. We did not enjoy them. The drinks had weird after taste and such but you know what it was probably one of those things you had to get used to then you love.
Now don’t get me wrong it was not a total wash. The decor was amazing. Someone put their heart and imagination into that place for sure. Our waitress was very nice as well as attentive. The bone marrow which I never had before was delicious even though you got very little for the price.
But we all know how high end fancy places are. Also food presentation was great. Check the photos All in all a great place if you wanted to go for some perhaps simple drinks with a date or friends looking to be surrounded great interior design.
Great food and amazing decor. Probably the best ambience in Denver. The bathroom is ridiculously cool. It is hidden in the wooden walls behind the sink. Pull the right chord to start the water flow for the “sink” and then pull the left to stop it.

The trick to saving money this time of year is to avoid the busy ski resort towns, where the room rates get very high and the towns can be very crowded.
