Lived here my whole life, I think I can get around at the fair. Our app is not produced or funded by the NY State Fair. It provides a list of daily events and where they are located. You are confusing our app with the official app which the fair developed and discontinued the next year. During the fair, the schedule opens to the events that are occurring at that time. This app is better then I thought it would be.
It lists the schedule of events, and as time goes by throughout the day, the app lists the most recent events. The map is interactive to some degree, you can tap the number listed on the building, and it contains the name of the building.
I am not able to select the events that I want to attend and be sent a reminder of when they start. Makes it difficult to pre-plan my visit to make the most of my visit.
