Every single picture I have in the Stable Cafe has terrible lighting. However, the food is delicious in this fun Biltmore restaurant. The Stable Cafe is known for its striking dining room and architecture, known for its upper-level a-frame roof.
What was once a stable, is now the spot to enjoy some of the best lu Opens at and serves until The waiter was delightful and when I exclaimed how savory the coleslaw was, he brought me a second serving!
The BBQ sandwich was good, and the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The classic burger was cooked to a juicy medium, nestled between two toasted buns. Every bite seemed better than the last, making me forget that I don’t in fact have to finish my plate. Needless to say, I found myself in the clean plate club! Excellent experience. Pleasant staff, child friendly. My daughter accompanied my husband and I to the restaurant. They provided water with a lid, extra straws without thinking we were weird, an extra roll for her, and a chocolate chip cookie to go despite her just eating off of our plates.
Unique eating atmosphere with the horse stalls, only the booths had cushions. Would very much recommend. This place never disappoints! Location is the coolest, eating in what used to be horse stables is the neatest!

Loved that they delivered to Archetype Brewing around the corner. The flavors were really really delicious. My favorite was the brisket steam buns, but it was so so good! Gan Shan West was everything I’d hoped it would be. I was beyond thrilled to see they had a beef brisket ramen.

True to that romantic aesthetic, Sovereign Remedies serves some of the best cocktails in Asheville, which is what people know them for. Located downtown Asheville N Market St. Lots of great options of the list and plenty of tasty recommendations from the staff. Worth a stop if you want something worth having.
This was a nice, eclectic spot, with a dark ambience. We ordered the corn bread, brussel sprouts my fave , beef carpaccio least favorite , potatoes, trout, shrimp, and beef shoulder. Drinks were great, I recommend the No Sleep till Brooklyn, and service was on point. Dessert was underwhelming, I recommend you skip it. Chopped Cut for the Moment main course. Service was good. The frites were a standout and rest of what we ate was adequate. We had a cute table that overlooked the first floor.

Awesome service. Real easy to walk in and order food. If your looking for a good lunch spot when going through Asheville definitely stop and here.
Also if you want to get a good deal definitely get the lunch combo or if you want there daily special burger, get the daily special. I built my own, made it similar to the Chicken burger with a onion ring on it and then got fries with Pimento Cheese. The food is amazing has a really good taste. So if your someone looking for a good sear definitely a place to go to get burgers. Also the Pimento Cheese fries were really good.

Located in the historic Grove Arcade, they invited us out for a pre-opening dinner. Um, speakeasy cocktails and delicious steaks with fresh sides?!
What a cool menu and unique experience. We got the steak tar tar and it was amazing. There was a smoked aioli sauce on the side that was delicious. The steaks were good and service was very nice. Lots of parking in the area to walk to this spot and cool indoor fire eating experience. Really cool comfy spot to check out. Everything was really clean and everyone was really nice. ALL the sides were so good. The steak was great, so were the ribs, the duck had a great flavor but wasn’t as tender as I was hoping.
The only thing that irked me was that my server kept forgetting to get me water. Hands down best meal and dining experience I’ve ever had. Every single thing we ate was impeccable and the service was perfect. There was even a guy playing music on the corner that added to our experience. We had the charcuterie platter as well as the cheese plate.
I discovered that I’ve missed out on pate my whole life among other things I would have never tried. We decided to get lots of small plates to try, grilled octopus was amazing. The buttermilk fried oysters were divine. Steak tartar was also excellent. We also had bone marrow, which was a first for my 75 year old father, who loved it. We couldn’t resist trying dessert even though we were stuffed since everything else had been so delicious and weren’t disappointed with deconstructed smores and a flan dish.
After dinner they invited us up to see the live fire kitchen where everything is cooked to perfection on wood fire. If you are traveling, save this place for your last meal, it was so great that it ruined all other places we went because we were comparing them to this very high bar.

Find authentic Meditteranean and Middle Eastern cuisine in a gorgeously colorful and intimate atmosphere. The atmosphere is colorful, serene, and delicious. Best food I’ve had visiting here so far. The lamb is awesome. I don’t normally care for lamb. Beautiful atmosphere and food. Jerusalem is a family owned and operated restaurant serving authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.
We started with bacon wrapped dates. They were served with bacon, halloumi cheese stuffed in the dates and a pomegranate molasses drizzle. This was an amazing dish. The bacon was crispy and the dates were slightly sweet this combined with the salty cheese and sweet drizzle made for a delicious bite.
The lamb shanks were served with basmati saffron rice, roasted cauliflower and pita bread. They lamb was fork tender and falling off the bone. It was spiced and seasoned perfectly with a slight toasted cumin heat that just lingered on the back of your tongue. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly with a slightly sweet floral flavor.
The pita was fresh, and the cauliflower was charred and tasty. When mixing everything together and eating it on the pita it made for near heavenly bite. If you go to this restaurant, I highly recommend that you order the specials or just let the chef pick.
They also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The servers are super nice, and they are very knowledgeable of the menu. They have several beers and wines for the Middle East as well. I have eaten at Jerusalem Garden Cafe for many years and have always been satisfied, but this last time was such a downer.
We went to eat there for dinner and the service was terrible, it seemed they had a new waiter, never seen him before and our usual excellent server was bussing tables. There was only one other occupied table, so not busy at all. When the gyros came, I had to take a double look.
My mom had ordered a falafel sandwich and one tiny falafel was hidden in her mountain of lettuce. The gyros looked much better at lunchtime!! When she looked for the falafel, it rolled out of her sandwich onto the floor, so she ate a lettuce sandwich. We could not ask the waiter why the sandwiches looked so meager, because he was nowhere to be found for 20 mins.

The Hot Chicken here is Legit! Skin is super crispy and flavorful. The sides were really good too. I recommend the fried pickle chips. The hot level of spice was just perfect super spicy but not so much you cant handle it.
Get a side of honey to dip you chicken in. We will for sure be going back. I definitely was not disappointed. The chicken was tender and very flavorful! I am a wimp when it comes to spicy foods so I went with the honey mild flavor and it was the perfect amount of heat. The sides were also tasty.
