Off-campus costs are displayed first followed by on-campus costs. Room and board includes things like rent, groceries or meal plans, and basic utilities. Personal expenses includes things like clothing, entertainment, and other living expenses. Transportation includes things like gas and basic vehicle maintenance.
Graduates in the Western Regional Graduate program pay in-state graduate tuition rates. Amounts deducted up-front from student loans are taken into account when a student receives a financial aid offer. Your calculated financial need is your cost of attendance minus your FAFSA expected family contribution amount, which allows USU to determine utah state university cost eligibility for subsidized loans, work-study, and etc.

Any student other than a nonimmigrant alien who meets all the following requirements, shall be exempt from paying the nonresident portion of the total tuition at Utah State University.

International students are ineligible for the Involvement Scholarship. Students applying for the Ambassador Program will automatically be considered for the Involvement Scholarship. Students should not submit an Involvement Scholarship application if they are submitting an Ambassador Program application. Additional leadership opportunities are available at USU Eastern. Need-Based scholarships are awarded to admitted students who qualify based on financial need. The deadline to apply for Fall is February 1, pending available funding.
